My friend Kuba, who runs the VenaPrint printing house in Jihlava and takes care of printing business cards, stickers, etc., started his own shop with printing on canvas. And how is this discipline doing?
We took a rehearsal photo of one of my beautiful newlyweds on a 90x60cm canvas. And the result? Great! Already at the handover, I was glad that the canvas is not stretched on a thick frame - I somehow grew out of the thick ones and they will be quite a nuisance to me. Especially when you hang a fairly large canvas somewhere on the wall, but it's so thick that you tear your sleeve every time you walk by. So for a thin frame thumbs up! The print quality is great, you could say perfect. I don't see a difference from printers that have first-class canvas prints and, most importantly, a much richer and larger experience. This way, from the start to compete with print quality for those who have been doing it for years, it deserves admiration. But not to praise, I give a small minus for the missing hook on the frame for hanging on the wall. Sure, the canvas can be hung on a screw directly behind the frame, but it's harder to balance it so that it's straight, and you just want to be a little sure that it won't fall. So hook would be welcomed Kuba! :D
And finally, the price - very nice! The size of 90x60 is almost five hundred czech crowns cheaper than in the printshop where I normally print. It can probably be assumed that the prices are, say, "starting", so I recommend order something as soon as possible. At the moment, you seem to be saving 20-30 percent less than competing printers. And here is the link - TiskNaPlatno.cz
I definitely recommend trying it! And if you want to make sure that the canvas looks good first, take a look at the gallery below.
