Pipin (I will reveal his real name Roman) is my friend and a very talented photographer. So it was a great honor for me that he ask me to photograph their wedding with Maruška. Pipin and Maruška are absolutely magical couple and everything somehow played them nicely together. It has rained all day, but since they are both so irish types, the rain has given it the right atmosphere and the wedding portraits look like they were photographed somewhere in Ireland. So absolutely great for me!
The ceremony and banquet took place in the recreational area of Kamínka near Roštín and I consider this to be an absolutely brilliant choice. Beautiful wooden house in the middle of the forest, so no one disturbs you. Guests staying in cottages, where everyone has their own privacy. And the food was absolutely famous, especially the sweet bar. It was untraditional and instead of classic muffins and panacota cups, there were more traditional Moravian cakes that tasted absolutely great.
For a photo shoot, we went to a nearby meadow near the church and after ten minutes under an umbrella, we said that we throw umbrellas away and we were prepared to get wet. And what didn't happen? It stopped raining. Pipin's pants looks bad, but nothing the hair dryer would solve. I really enjoyed this photo shoot, because when you get out of the comfort zone and clear the fact that it's raining on your camera and that your feet are wet to the middle of your thighs, you will get perfect photos.
The whole wedding was in a very friendly spirit and everyone was very nice. I hope to be invited to the annual anniversary :) Good luck Pipi and Maruška!
